Status Attainment Research In System Segmentation

The restriction status of social mobility,is one of the important identity of Chinese social change since 1978.What's more,it is the important drive of social progress.However,influenced by the traditional system,the system segregation became a natural barrier of social mobility,and we can find that there are many differences between each system both inside and outside of social mobility mechanism,and will certainly affect the flow direction for people to make choice.A healthy and vibrant society,should be a system of weaken or even eliminate segmentation the society.Therefore,China had nearly 40 years of reform and opening up.so,how much important role did the social mobility in the system today divided exactly play? this is important to identify the significance of social development,and which is the target and idea for this the problem of the research issue.In this issue,however,there are different points and opinions on the question,and in summary,a kind of view is that affected by the traditional system,it holds that the system inside and outside status inequality still exists,in recent years.A hot in civil service examination is a typical representative.However,another view holds that with the gradual development of market economy and the deepening of the globalization process,with many civil servants came outside the system from the 1990's,there seems a cooling water after civil servants hot in recent years,the system division differences are becoming blurred,professional status of system barriers,Facing these two divisions to the point of view,this study use the comprehensive survey based on Chinese society(CSS)data in 2006-2015 to do the survey.This research concerns: the current system of China's social mobility division exactly on what kind of changes have taken place;Is there any difference for person to occupational status inside and outside the mechanism? maintain or weakened? And to review the quality of social development.on the issue.This study found that system segmentation factors do both effects on people in the early job status and present status.within the system,people's career status have a certain more degree influence by the education and the function of the political landscape than outside the system,At the same time within the system,significantly higher than outside the system between generations.But from the developing trend of history,system inside and outside the differences is becoming narrow,after entering the 21 st century,a personal record of formal schooling and ability for the system both inside and outside the laborer of career status plays the most significant role.But with the passage of time and the process of market economy gradually accelerated,this effect began to appear gradually weakening trend.This suggests that social development quality is improving,but the social mobility of the space open has room for further increase,this is also the policy orientation of the meaning of this research.
