Students' epistemic belief on mathematics means the simple views or opinions of students'understanding mathematics knowledge itself and process, which belong to belief recognition system. They include knowledge of mathematics and mathematics learning belief systems.Numerous studies show that students' epistemic belief on mathematics has a direct or indirect impact on cognition, emotion and will of mathematics. Therefore,if the problem of epistemic belief on mathematics can't be solved,it will become an obstruction during students' formation process of effective cognition, positive emotions experience and good psychological quality. In addition, due to the traditional culture and the old teaching modes which have an impact on the students in ethnic minority areas, liberal arts students' mathematics beliefs in most schools are negative and inefficient. Therefore,to improve students 'epistemic beliefs on mathematics in ethnic minority area is essential. This research starting from the five dimensions of mathematical beliefs, the present situation of the mathematical beliefs of students of liberal arts in ethnic areas as foothold. In order to improve the students' mathematical beliefs,in turn, improve the students' learning status as a target.First, through the prophase research the present situation and the causes of the mathematical beliefs of students' in ethnic minority areas.Second, combined with the status quo,in view of the students mathematical beliefs put forward the teaching strategies to improve the students' belief in five dimensions:build knowledge structure map,use of media technology, create life situation, often contact and use strategies to improve the knowledge structure of beliefs;change teaching environment, take the student as the main body,to carry out the teaching activities, give priority to in order to explore policy knowledge strategy to improve the stability of beliefs;emotional incentive sensei, equal teaching environment, layered questions thinking, high layered homework achievement strategies to improve learning ability beliefs;mathematics teaching variant,step-by-step learning, daily reflection and experience accumulating strategy to improve the learning speed beliefs;autonomy and cooperation, multimode fun experience, understanding and memory coexistence, feeling the multimode strategy to improve the learning style beliefs.Third,we use the teaching strategies to the teaching experiments, and through empirical study and lesson study get the following conclusion.(1)The empirical research shows that the teaching strategies can improve liberal arts students' mathematical beliefs in ethnic minority areas and the students' math grades;(2)In terms of nationality,Yao nationality students 'mathematics beliefs are improved to a large extent. In learning ability and the learning styles dimension,Zhang students'mathematics beliefs are improved faster than Han students'.(3)Sources in the household, the improve of township students' knowledge stable, learning ability is significantly greater than the county students'.In the knowledge structure, learning speed, learning styles dimension, the county students' improve degree slightly larger than the township students'.(4)In terms of gender, girls are improved faster than boys on knowledge structure, knowledge of stability and learning speed while boys are improved faster than girls on learning ability, learning styles. This essay study proposes teaching strategies to improve students' mathematical beliefs, and verify the effectiveness shown in practice teaching, and it is hoped that this research plays a catalytic role for deeply study students' belief.
