Nowadays, the updating of network technology and digital technology has brought people into the new media era, in which Wechat, QQ, social networking sites, microblog,forums and other media have become the major social networking tools and access to information. Meanwhile the “multi, fast, mutual, virtual and wide” characteristics enjoyed by new media have intensified the severe situation of college students' management and increased the management difficulties. Therefore, it is the concern and difficulty of current college students management work to correctly take cognizance of the network influence on college students' management, leverage the power of new media to promote the transformation of college students' management and maintain the stability and harmony in campus. With the great reverberation of How To Spend Your College Life aroused in the newly enrolled students nationwide, “Qiuye” and “Huanfang Qiuye Qingyu” have become celebrities on the Internet. Hence, “Qiuye”----Mr. Zhang Zhi----the teacher has become a representative who uses new media to communicate with students under the circumstance of new media. It is absolutely not an accident for the success of the case of “Qiuye”. A PPT seemed very simple to a outsider may include abundant rationales of the management study, and several conversations may pointedly target the features of the 90s' college students. Thus the case “Qiuye” has brought us a key to the question that how to manage the “post-90s” college students in the new media environment.In the research, the features of new media will be analyzed and difficulties and problems encountered in college students management in new media era will be interpreted.Also the success secrets of the case “Qiuye” will be analyzed with the analysis of the case“Qiuye” which has caused great response in students as well as its connotation from the perspective of management. Moreover the management factors and management principles will be refined and analyzed. At last, in new media era, the application of management principles into the management work of the “post-90s” college students is discussed through the corresponding revelation from the case. The research will make the success secrets of the case “Qiuye” unearthed and provide references for colleges in exploring newmodes and methods of college students' management under the influence of three management concepts, namely, flexible management, level-division management and target management and moreover will set new targets for the further improvement and enhancement of the management work of the“post-90s” college students after in new media era.
