| According to the regulations of the United Nations,the standard of aging in developing countries is that people who are over 60 years old should be regarded as the elder and the percentage of population of the elder is up to 10%.Based on this standard,our country China has been in an aging society in advance since 1999.National statistics shows that at the end of 2015,the number of the population of Chinese who are 60 years old or above is 212.42 million that shares the total population of 15.5%.It means that China will go into a period in which the aging population develops rapidly after 2015.What’s more,the degree of the aging in China will be severe,may be more severe in development.So many social problems has existed with the seriousness of the aging.Therefore,some special attention should be paid to the social problem that how to raise the living standard of the elder,especially the elder living in countryside all year round and how to improve the satisfaction of their life.The thesis,centering on the individual life,family life,endowment problems and the satisfaction of self-evaluation,analyzes their present living condition and existing problems and discusses the influencing factors of life satisfaction of the aged in countryside from the simple random sampling of the countryside of fen river street agency in Linfen,Shanxi Province,through literature induction and logic analysis,questionnaire investigation and interview.It shows that,age,marital status,economic status,health,loneliness,the participation in social activities,regular physical examination,ways of living,the number of children,children’s visit frequency,children burden medical fee,presence of activities,the village committee’s visit,and the enjoyment of social assistance are the influencing factors of life satisfaction,while gender,the level of education,children’s ways of taking care of the elderly,medical expenses from the public,medical expenses from their savings,medical expenses from the rural cooperative medical insurance,medical expenses from commercial insurance,medical expenses from others,the enjoyment of low insurance,the enjoyment of pension insurance and medical insurance are not the significant effects to influence the life satisfaction of the aged.It has been discovered that recently there are some actual problems in the countryside of fen river street agency: low financial security and the needs of increasing economic income;low medical security and the hope of improvement of the medical awareness;low pension insurance and the hope of improving the pension environment;the step-up widowed rate and worse attention of spiritual demand.From the above study,it shows that the elder in countryside should be paid much more attention and given much more support.In order to guarantee their late-life,the author puts forward the relevant countermeasures from the level of individual,family and society.The definite steps are: for the elder,people should help them to set up self-development life idea and continue to devote themselves within their power,suppor t them to remar ry positively,improve self-learning ability,look for spiritual comfort to satisfy themselves,change their inherent thinking,and take part in social activities;for children,people should encourage their children to live with them,enhance children’s responsibility of supporting parents;to suggest children visit parents frequently and travel with parents;meanwhile,government should strengthen the propaganda of the relevant laws and regulations,perfect the new agricultural and medical assistance system,found pension ser vice organizations actively,enhance the construction of the arena for the aged;for village committees,they should carry out some rich recreational activities,set up service organizations actively with the unit of village.The author thinks that the life satisfaction of the elder in countryside can be improved with these measures. |
