Research On The Friendly Values Cultivation Of Contemporary College Students

Friendly values is not only the basic content of the civil moral construction, but also the basic value of the core socialist values. The whole society should actively promote and fulfill it. College students are the hope of the nation and the future of the nationality. The establishment of friendly values is very important for enhancing national cohesion and promoting college students’ comprehensive development. As an important part of the socialist friendly values, college students’friendly values is proposed according to the special group of college students. It is the basic moral standards and behavior norms that college students should obey. However, influenced by market economy and multiple value system, there still exist many unfriendly thought and behavior among the contemporary college students. Thus, it is imperative to strengthen the cultivation of college students’friendly values.This paper takes Shanxi Normal University for example. By adopting the methods of questionnaire survey and interview, the author finds that the lack of friendly values among the contemporary college students mainly manifested in the following four aspects:the deficiency in compassion and tolerance; consciousness dim in thanksgiving parents and respecting teachers; weakening consciousness in courageous and helpfulness; low consciousness in protecting environment and saving resources. Based on the phenomena, the author tries to analyze the possible causes of lacking friendly values. After the analysis, it is revealed that the lack of friendly values among college students not only caused by their own quality factors, but also caused by other factors such as family tradition tutor, school cultivation effect and social moral environment. Therefore, this paper attempts to explain the development path of students friendly values from the perspective of students themselves, families, schools and society. To be specific:To deep the college students’self cognition of friendly values and to enhance their practice ability in friendly values;to create a friendly family atmosphere and to strengthen the positive guidance of family education; to enhance the school’s friendly values cultivation and supervision mechanism in order to promote the effectiveness of education; to create a good social environment and to enhance the sense of social identity of friendly values. By adopting the above ways, we can strengthen and cultivate college students’friendly values.
