Research On College Students’ Core Socialist Values Education And Practice Activities

Prosperity,democracy,civility,harmony,freedom,equality,justice,rule of law,patriotism,dedication,integrity,and friendship are advocated in the report to the 18 th CPC National Congress and cultivating actively core socialist values is also encouraged.On May 4,2014,Xi Jinping,general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,said,on the Peking University Forum of students and teachers,“the values of youth determine the future values of the whole society.And it is important for youth to develop right values in the period of youth,because it is the critical period of values’ formation and establishment for youth,which likes wearing clothes and buttoning up,and if we fasten the first button up the wrong way,we will fasten the rest buttons up the wrong way.Thus,life should begin with a right ‘button’.”Affected by the social thoughts and environment atmosphere,some students’ values were distorted to some extent.Therefore,it is imperative to launch core socialist values education and practice activities towards college students.Marx,in Theses on Feuerbach,clearly pointed out that all the social life are essentially practical.Besides,Mao Zedong said that reading is a kind of learning and applying is an important kind of learning.we must deal with the relationship of education and practice in the process of college students’ core socialist values education and practice activities,guiding practice with education and deepening education with practice.We should not only pay attention to the ideological education of college students’ core socialist values,internalizing them into students’ hearts,but also enhance arrangements of practice activities,externalizing them into students’ actions,so that students will really become active promoters and self-conscious practitioners of core socialist values.Research on college students’ core socialist values education and practice activities are divided into five parts in this paper.The first part mainly introduces the foundations,significance,methods and theoretical achievements of students’ core socialist values education and practice activities.The second part mainly defines the main content ofcore socialist values education,focusing on five points.The third part mainly analyses the present situation of college students’ core socialist values education and practice activities by questionnaire survey to find out the existing problems and analyze the reasons.The fourth part is about the law of ideological and political education,which should be obeyed in the process of college students’ core socialist values education and practice activities.And this part also discusses that we should improve the scientific level of education and practice activities on the basis of rules.The fifth part is mainly about the construction of 4 + 2 + 1 pattern of college students’ core socialist values education and practice activities,guaranteeing the conditions and quality of college students’ core socialist values education and practice activities from the perspective of system and mechanism by optimizing the methods of four main bodies,strengthening the effect of two supporters,and establishing a strong guarantee system.
