Help-reading System of Classical Chinese is an important part of Chinese textbooks,and is also the most important auxiliary information for students’ learning.“when reading the simple classical Chinese,students need use the annotation and reference books to understand the basic content” which is proposed clearly in The Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards(2011).As you can see,annotation plays an important part in students’ learning.So the study selects help-reading system of Classical Chinese as the research object,which is important to promote students’ self-study ability and to help teachers’ teaching.In order to understand the current situation in using help-reading system of Classical Chinese,this study mainly uses literature analysis,questionnaires and interviews methods.From the questionnaire,interview results and my internship experience,I found the classical help-reading system’s use has many problems.There are many disparities between the write intentions of editors and the actually using situation.Overall,there are five questions for teachers and students: First,they couldn’t fully understand help-reading system of classical Chinese.Second,they always pay more attention to the annotations at the inadequate method andtime.Third,they don’t pay close attention to those illustration.Fourth,the direction of teachers is not in place,the quality of students’ use of doping.Fifth,they have utilitarian purpose for the help-reading system and ignore the difficult puzzles.At last,I analyze the reasons and put forward recommendations.For teachers,first,I suggest that teachers must clear the effect of help-reading system and should not regard it as the only measure for test.Second,teachers should stimulate students’ interest and guide students use it properly.Final,each section should be applied:using annotations should be to find the right time and method,reading the introduction to find a breakthrough,enhancing awareness of figure to organize the teaching,and learning essay to promote overall development of students.For students,first,students should play their own initiative to understand the help-reading system,correct attitude and adopt appropriate methods to solve puzzles.Second,students should develop good habits and choose the appropriate method to use the information:paying attention to annotations and using reference books correctly,finding the focus and methods of learning form the introduction,stimulating their interest by seeing figure,broadening their horizons by learning the help-reading essay.I hope that the recommendations can improve the status of help-reading of classical Chinese using in poor condition,and help teachers and students to use textbook resources reasonably.
