In English teaching,Teacher's talk is not only the teaching tool but also the teaching material.English language knowledge and the related cultural knowledge will be taught in senior English classroom and also English language will be used to teach this knowledge.As a result,the comprehensive ability of the English language application can be improved.Teacher's feedback plays an important role in teacher's talk.Teacher's feedback is an important resource of comprehensive input language for students.As a result,making an analysis of language teachers' feedback is very important to improve the classroom teaching effect.According to different focuses,teacher's follow-up discourse including the three categories: content feedback,form feedback and theme feedback.This article mainly through classroom observation and transfer the recording to analyze the excellent English teachers' three types of feedback in English classroom discourse,then find that which kind of feedback strategy is most used in language teaching.Through in-depth analysis of the classroom discourse to reaserch feedback strategy usage and class effect.Then through making an analysis of the questionnaire data from the perspective of theory and practice to study the feedback preferences of teachers' and students'.It is designed to draw some enlightenment to guide English teachers focus on the verbal feedback,achieving the goal that improving the level of English teaching better.This research draws the following conclusions: Excellent English teachers pay attention to teachers' verbal feedback to improve and promote the students' language ability,teachers can use various feedback strategies flexibly.From the research result,we can find that content feedback is a kind of strategy most used in reading class for the reason that excellent teachers pay more attention on the understanding of reading materials.But in the study I also found that there still exists some problems in the process of the English teacher using verbal feedback,such as the verbal feedback sometimes too single to give students a clear guidance.These are some points that English teachers need to improve in the future.
