English teaching in China attaches importance to students' overall development of listening,speaking,reading and writing,eventually forming a comprehensive language using ability.However,junior high school students' English writing is not very optimistic.In class,most of the junior English teachers lack effective and systematic classroom writing training methods and strategies.Through a questionnaire survey conducted among 150 students in three schools and 65 junior English teachers in Zhangzhou,Fujian Province,and the scale of class observation used to observe the teaching process of 5 teachers in the three schools,this study tries to explore the current situation of writing training in junior English classroom.At the same time,based on the Output Hypothesis Theory,the writer analyzes 10 splendid cases collected from the class observation and summarizes excellent writing training methods used by the teachers.Finally,it proposes the output-oriented writing training strategies,which provide a reference for junior English teachers.Through these researches,this paper finds out that:1.Most of the first-line junior English teachers design writing training link before the arrangement of topic composition.But there are still various problems;2.In the teaching cases,the first-line teachers use a lot of writing training methods based on the Output Hypothesis Theory,which can be roughly divided into three types: “writing”guided by “listening”,“writing” guided by “speaking” and “writing” guided by “reading”;3.In view of the current situation of writing training in junior English classroom,combined the training methods in the teaching cases,output-oriented writing training strategies are: restructuring vocabulary and sentence patterns in texts to guide the implementation of “noticing/triggering” function;reconstructing the text theme situation to realize the “hypothesis-testing” function;students team cooperation to realize the "Metalinguistic" function together.This case study has important practical significance to junior English writing teaching.It confirms the guidance of Output Hypothesis Theory for writing training and encourages moreteachers to pay attention to writing training.Teachers can choose appropriate training methods,according to the characteristics of teaching materials and writing goals in classroom writing training in the future.
