Game Theoretic Analyses Of Serving Tactics And Receiving Tactics Of Men's Singles In Badminton Match

In this thesis,it analyzes the game theory of the men's singles serve and return of serve tactics by means of documentary analysis method,video observation method,mathematical statistics,case analysis and logical analysis.And it focuses on researching the structure of the game,classifications and the strategy selection in badminton match.In the men's singles serving and receiving tactics as the main research object,explore its tactical game problem.The application of game theory,reveals the strategy selection problem.Meanwhile,by technical statistics to singles match video data of high-level men's singles player Lin Dan,Lee Chong Wei and amateur Yang Fan,Song Zongyao,this thesis also analyzes the similarities and differences of their tactics styles.It provides the theoretical basis to increase the odds by using game theory methods to choose tactics for badminton players in the game.According to the analysis of the video data,we can get the conclusions as follows:1.Badminton matches belong to double game.Therefore,talking about serve and return of serve,its use of techniques and tactics selecting belong to a single game but there are both static game and dynamic game in the tactics.2.According to statistics,the badminton men's singles players have some certain tendency and regularity in ways and placements when they serve.According to the observation of the video of the game,the serve placement concentrated in placement 1 and 2.High-level players Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei are more apt to backhand net ball.However,amateurs Yang Fan and Song Zongyao serve backhand serve,no matter before or after,the technique application in forecourt and back court are with relatively uniform.3.The most widely used receiving technology among high-level singles players is to pick the ball up to the net,then chopping.During back court technique,smash and lob wedge are used in higher probability;Amateurs receive net ball technology is mostly used when chopping,as for Yang Fan,smash is in higher usage,while Song Zongyao uses high ball and wedge drop shot.4.In the badminton competition,we use the concept of expected payments and response function method,the badminton serve,receive theoretical analysis of the tactics used,and propose a hypothesis of the double game of badminton serve,find the mixed strategy Nash equilibrium.By using this method,the optimal strategy,Lin serve the probability of using the front and the back technology were 89.66%,10.34%,lee the probability of using the front and the back technology were 55.17%,44.83%;Lin Dan receiving optimal strategy,the probability of using the front and the back technology were 83.33%,16.67%,lee the probability of using the front and the back technology were 46.67%,53.33% respectively.
