Russian Students Internet Addiction Research And Methods Of Impact

The development of IT and Internet facilities gave the world a new opportunity for study, work, communication and lifestyle. But in another case it brought new problems for mankind. A lot of users began to spend too much time in a worldwide web, causing a plenty of problems with study, work, life, health etc. Especially young generation. In 1997 American Psychological Scientific society made the first research with a new problem called "Internet Addiction". Internet Addiction phenomenon was possessed as anew social and psychological disorder. And soon students became a new group of risk and an object of scientific research. Stressed with the modern life, study, they found a new way of relax- Internet. According to Russian IT Research Center(2012 year), 1\3 of students have Internet Addiction Disorder. Internet already became their only way of existence, the most important part of their life.Internet Addiction has quite harmful influence on study. That's why it's very important to help them to avoid web, to understand what kind of problems can cause their addiction to IT, to protect their health and mental condition.Internet Addiction is a quite new problem. And every year it covers more and more people in Russia and another countries. But there are very few methods of help to Internet-addicted. Most of them are based on the research of American scientist. They were the first who began to investigate that problem. So now its quite important to create new methods to save young generation of addiction.The main goal of methods and programs is to help people to quite using Internet too much and useless, to communicate without gadgets and soft, to use it only for real needs.This paper provides an analysis of the condition of Russia students in the sphere of Internet Addiction Disorder, it's devoted to examine the role of Internet in the life of modern students. The purpose of this article is to investigate the level of addiction of Russian students, to develop new methods of impact to help them to avoid Internet Addiction.
