Exploring The Relationships Among Trait Emotional Intelligence、Internet Use Preference And Internet Addiction Disorder Of College Students

Internet Addiction Disorder refers to the phenomenon of excessive network usage whichresult in damaging to individual psychological state and social functions, Associating withdifferent levels of somatic symptoms. It is under the action of an addictive substance impulsebehavior’s control disorders. When surfing the Internet will bring pleasant sensation ofphysical and psychological dependence, while leting down the nets will be refund afteraddiction, desire and so on. It is important to college students’ mental health and quality of life,always having been a focus of attention. Internet addiction Disorder is influenced by thosefactors is always the key point of the people hoping to study. Trait Emotional Intelligence as anew research direction has what the effects of Internet addiction. Based on this, this studyselected457college students as subjects, adopt the method of questionnaire survey, studyingthe relations between Trait emotional intelligence,college students Internet addiction andnetwork preferences. The results showed that:1.Most of the Internet addiction disorder of our college students are positive,most ofcolleges haven’t Internet addiction disorder.2. Demographic variables analysis showed that: Trait emotional intelligence in thegender variable was significant difference in the professional.Difference grade variableInternet use of preferences on the grade variable was gender, profession variable differencesare not significant with Internet addiction on the grade variables showed significantdifferences, internet addiction time management factor in gender, professional variablesignificant difference.3. Trait emotional intelligence and Internet addiction was a very significant negativecorrelation, Internet use of preferences and Internet Addiction was significantly positivelycorrelated, Trait emotional intelligence and Internet use of preferences was a very significantnegative correlation.4. Significant predictor of trait emotional intelligence factor of Internet addiction, traitemotional intelligence can be negative prediction Internet addiction, trait emotionalintelligence positively predicted Internet use of preferences, Internet use preferences can positively predict Internet addiction.5. Trait emotional intelligence not only has a direct effect on Internet addiction, also canmake use the mediator Internet use of preferences of Internet addiction an indirect role, theInternet use of Preferences from the part of the intermediary role between trait emotionalintelligence and Internet Addiction.
