Today's China is in a period of rapid social transition,followed by that people's values are undergoing tremendous change.In such a social background,forming a contemporary college students the world,life and values naturally will be directly affected.Gap year as a value concept in recent years coming from the West,it allows young people to understand themselves through social practice,to experience life.While for life,world outlook,values,outlook on life cultivating college students,social adaptation,communication to solve problems,improve teamwork,for occupation,for planning and other aspects of the future development direction has a subtle effect and positive role in promoting.Among these,only reflects the overall development theory,but can be combined with the ideological and political education,combined with vocational education and universities,making it a new way of higher education.This paper describes the main topics of the first metacarpal reasons,current research,research methods and theoretical basis.The second chapter of the gap year"concept overview,including definition,origin and development gap year abroad as well as gap year in several major ways.The third chapter,mainly through the questionnaire data analysis,detailed description of the present situation in China's development gap year.The first is the gap in popularity in the country,followed by the reasons for the gap year,including broaden their horizons and experience life,self-awareness,lack of social experience,independence and poor areas,and finally carried impediments year interval,which also includes internal and external factors in two ways.Chapter IV as the focus of this article,starting characteristics and influencing factors of college students start to grow,which is characterized by the growth of college students mainly from four aspects discuss ideals and beliefs,values,honor the concept of responsibility,influencing factors from social change,family education,school environment,peer groups,the mass media were discussed five parts.Secondly,through questionnaires and case interviews collected data,information,respectively,from the socialization,the ability to influence,career planning,three aspects are discussed in detail the effects of spacing on the growth of college students in China.Finally,combined with the professional,reflecting the important role and significance of the interval in the comprehensive development of individuals and the ideological and political education.In this paper,the use of questionnaires and case interviews,pair of spaced-year status and its influence on students' growth gap year in,provide a theoretical reference.
