Writing,one of the basic skills in language learning,indicates one's comprehensive language skills and language abilities.Writing is an important part as well as a major difficulty in English teaching.At present,there exist many difficulties and problems in students' writing,so scholars have done a lot of research in order to find an effective way of improving students' writing level.Feedback,an important stage in English writing teaching,influences the effects of writing teaching and the improvement of students' writing level.Researchers have done much research into writing feedback.However,due to various limiting factors,teachers still give simple and mechanical feedback in the process of English writing.This traditional teacher feedback is a single activity between the teacher and students,which is not beneficial to students' initiatives.Therefore,students' writing cannot be improved efficiently or completely.Based on the theory of process writing,this research combines teacher feedback with peer feedback properly from the perspective of Educational Ecology and tries to put forward the multi-dimensional feedback model: teacher guidance ? peer feedback in groups(first draft)? conclusion in groups ? teacher feedback(second draft)? evaluation and demonstration(third draft).This research tries to answer the following questions:(1)Can the multi-dimensional feedback model be applied to senior high school English writing teaching?(2)How effective is the multi-dimensional feedback model in senior high school English writing teaching?(3)What are the students' attitudes towards the multi-dimensional feedback in English writing teaching?The research is conducted in senior two in Anshan No.6 Middle School by questionnaires,tests and the interview.In eighteen weeks,the two classes are required to finish the same writing tasks.The controlled class(CC)receives the traditional teacher feedback.The experimental class(EC)receives the multi-dimensional feedback model.During the research,the multi-dimensional feedback model can be used to combine teacher feedback with peer feedback and promote the interaction of various classroom ecological factors such as language,teachers,learners and the learning environment.Based on the multi-level negotiations,learners collect and process information,realize knowledge construction and acquire an effective language output.The multi-dimensional feedback model can improve senior high students' English writing ability more efficiently.It can promote the relationship between teachers and students,enhance students' self-confidence in English writing,cultivate autonomic learning and cooperative learning ability and realize the coevolution.It is expected that this research can be used as reference for future English writing teaching and shed some lights on the related research.
