This study firstly find the two classes that there are big differences of students engagement in mathematics learning through the questionnaire survey. And take them as the research objects of the study. Next then entering into the two classes for field observation, communicating with teachers and students and interview them deeply. Through these ways, collecting a large mount of firsthand materials. And analyzing and summarizing the materials that have been collected.Through the comparative study of two teachers' teaching behavior, the study found that there are big difference between two teachers' behavior, including classroom explaining behavior, classroom questioning behavior, classroom management behavior, classroom feedback behavior.Teachers teaching style embodies in teachers' teaching teaching behavior and teaching attitude and so on. In turn, the two teachers teaching behavior also reflect their teaching styles:one teacher is democratic and takes the students as the center. The other one is authoritarian and centers on the teaching tasks. Then by contacting the measurement of student engagement and the situation of student participation, this study found that the student engagement in the class whose math teachers is the democratic one is higher. The constructivism theory and student participation theory provide the analysis point of view for the research phenomena and the research results of this study. And sticking to attitude, behavior, way, time and emotion these five aspects of student engagement to explain and analyze these research phenomena and the research results. These ideas laid the theoretical basis and analysis framework of this article. Finally,on the basis of in-depth analysis of this study, obtained some important enlightenment for mathematics education and put forward the suggestions for improving the teachers' teaching behavior. The democratic teachers who take students as the center can promote student learning participation during the education process. We should pay more attention to the students' emotional involvement and focus on the students' emotion and their learning process. As teachers, they should do that their explanation is lively and interesting. They also should establish the contact between the new knowledge and students' experience or make knowledge more close to students' life. They must make sure that face all students and inspire students' thinking when they ask questions. They should give timely feedback to students and the content of the feedback is specific. They should make their best to encourage students. They should take kinds of effective ways for classroom management. They must realize that their classroom management behavior shouldn't reduce students classroom engagement.
