A Study On The Risk Control Of University Infrastructure Projects Under The Parallel Contracting Mode

Risk management plays a critical role in project management, whose success or failure determines the engineering project. Each process has the corresponding risk management process. As a branch of the engineering project management, the university infrastructure has its own particularity and complexity, which determines the risk management of the university infrastructure is different from that of the general engineering project.Aimed at university infrastructure projects, this paper makes the research on the risk of parallel contracting management mode. It will further refine the risk management of university infrastructure projects, to a certain extent, which will deepen research and application of the risk management in engineering projects.Therefore, it's of great practical significance to make the study on the risk control of university infrastructure projects under the parallel contracting mode, which also has the positive reference and application value.Based on the study of relevant theories and research results, this paper makes the analysis of the characteristics, the advantages and disadvantages of the parallel contracting mode. What's more, it analyzes the risk factors and risk management status with the characteristics of university infrastructure, taking Science and Technology Information General Building in Minnan Nomal University for example,and proposes the problems and reasons in the risk management. From the standpoint of the school managers or owners who are to maintain the interests as a starting point,we will adopt the full audit system, with cost control, schedule control and quality control(that is Three Control) as the goals. And we will make the management for the whole process and adopt pointedly proactive risk management strategy to establish the risk controlling mechanism of university infrastructure projects under the parallel contracting mode.
