Different from ordinary products, couple products are not only equipped with the functions and elements of common products, but is also able to bear emotional sustenance and demands of couples. Therefore, the study of couple products needs to focus on couples' inner world except from meeting the requirements of ordinary products. Psychologists believe that the formation of individuals' spiritual world is formed by one's living environment and experience. These positive or negative psychological influences will eventually be integrated into one's personality, although the individual is unaware of this status. The preference on couple products is a direct or indirect reflection of couples' inner world. People with different concepts of love will have different preferences on couple products.Consequently, the design of couple products should cater to users' emotional preferences, and guide couples to a harmonious and healthy way of co-existence.By studying love classification theory of psychology, this paper discusses couple attachment under different love behaviors, and the emotional expression under its spiritual effects. Through the study of features and design elements of couple products,this paper analyzes different forms and images of emotional expression of couple products. For couple attachment under different love behavior patterns, this paper analyzes different design ideas of different couple products, and puts forward a product design theory based on love classification theory. At last, there are two types of designs of couple products, followed by a design evaluation.
