The Comparative Research Of Concept Understanding In Molar System Among Middle School Students

The molar system is composed of several chemical concepts such as molar mass, mole gas volume, molarity, Avogardo constant and so on. The relationship between concepts in the molar system is close and complete.The molar system is the fundamental in the middle school chemistry education. The chemical concepts in it are complicated, numerous and abstract, so that both teachers and students feel it difficult to learn. The molar system plays an important role in helping students construct knowledge structure and understand chemical problems through macroscopic and microscopic view.In this paper, there are two parts. The first part is about the student in Grade 9 how to learn mole. The other part is about the comparative research of concept understanding in molar system among middle school students.Based on the theory of related literatures and constructionism, the research is carried out by means of investigations and experiments. Through a lot of exams and questionnaire, junior high school students’learning levels on the molar system have been analysed. It paid attention to the former concept, the concept of error, the differentiation point and the cognitive level of junior high school students in the learning process of Molar System. There are angle and multi-level analysis of the middle school students to learn Molar System in the cognitive level and learning characteristics and other aspects of the difference. It also demonstrated the effectiveness and feasibility of the learning concept of Molar System among middle school students, and provided effective suggestions for chemistry concept teaching at the beginning of high school.
