In recent years,there has been more attention paid to physical education teaching in basic education.The training and professional development of physical education teachers have been widely concern.However,from the teaching situation of those who have become a physical education after graduation soon,their professional abilities are not enough to finish physical education tasks very well in primary and middle schools in our country and it's hard for them to receive expected teaching effect.This study researched physical education teachers' Pedagogical Content Knowledge and this thesis makes use of many different kinds of research methods such as literature review,questionnaires,and mathematical analysis,etc.Relevant studies at home and in aboard were consulted and some subject theories of education and physical education were used in this thesis.By comparing the Pedagogical Content Knowledge between experienced teachers and new ones,the author wants to find out the subject knowledge that physical education teachers must equip and add those knowledge to the courses of physical education majors in universities so as to cultivate their Pedagogical Content Knowledge and improve the situation that new physical education teachers can not finish physical education tasks very well and hard for them to receive expected teaching effect.There are conclusions in present study:(1)Significant difference existed in different dimensions of physical education teachers' Pedagogical Content Knowledge in different teaching experience.The average scores of Pedagogical Content Knowledge of new teachers is 107.40.The average scores of dimensions from 1 to 6 are 22.35,18.33,23.26,15.32,14.52,and13.80.The average scores of Pedagogical Content Knowledge of experienced teachers is 145.66.The average scores of dimensions from 1 to 6 are32.79,26.45,31.08,22.47,17.79,15.08.But from scores of new teachers and experienced teachers and average scores of different dimensions,new teachers are more poorer than experienced teachers in using subject teaching knowledge,mainly inusing students' knowledge,physical education teaching target knowledge,physical education teaching organization and management knowledge,and physical education teaching method knowledge.(2)Significant difference existed in students' knowledge.New physical education teachers knew little about students' physical and psychological development features and skill cognitive development features.However,experienced physical education teachers knew more about students knowledge and they can better master students motor skills.(3)Significant difference existed in physical education teaching objectives knowledge.New physical education teachers are knew little about teaching objectives of the grade they teaching and the connections between teaching objectives in different grades.(4)Significant difference existed in physical education contents knowledge.New physical education teachers have a little understanding of physical education teaching contents and teaching important points.They are not good at teaching spots key points using jingle and they are not creative in choosing teaching contents.(5)Significant difference existed in physical education teaching organization and management knowledge.New physical education teachers are poorer in dealing with emergency,classroom management,giving instructions to students than experienced physical education teachers.(6)Significant difference existed in Pedagogical Content Knowledge.New physical education teachers have little teaching methods and other teaching methods were less used.(7)Significant difference existed in assessment knowledge.New physical education teachers are poorer in seizing the moment of physical education teaching assessment and using assessment methods than experienced physical education teachers.Suggestions were given in present study:(1)New physical education teachers should enhance the cognition and using of subjective knowledge so as to cultivate Pedagogical Content Knowledge.(2)The cultivation of Physical education majors in universities should add Pedagogical Content Knowledge.
