| Pedagogical knowledge(PCK)refers to teachers’ knowledge of specific subject contents based on content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge.PCK is the core of teachers’ professional knowledge,and teachers should achieve the integration of content knowledge and teaching knowledge in the teaching process.PCK is of great significance to the development of teachers.Xuchang City,Henan Province,is in the transition period of education development.In recent years,Xuchang has implemented the talent plan” and introduced talents.A large number of normal university graduates have come to work as teachers.At the same time,Xuchang launched the "three-year plan for high-quality development of education",which plans to make the overall education level of Xuchang reach a new level through a series of measures.In this context,this study analyzes the PCK level of senior high school biology teachers in Xuchang,mainly studies the PCK level of three representative types of teachers:proficient teachers,experienced teachers and novice teachers,and puts forward suggestions and hopes for different types of teachers,so as to improve the overall quality of senior high school biology teachers in Xuchang.This study provides theoretical and practical guidance for the high-quality development of education in Xuchang.This research adopts the methods of literature research,group questionnaire survey and classroom observation,it compares the differences among novice teachers,experiential teachers and proficient teachers in six aspects of PCK(knowledge about teaching purpose,knowledge about students,knowledge about teaching content,knowledge about content organization,knowledge about effect feedback and knowledge about teaching strategies).The conclusions are as follows:1.The average score of teachers’ PCK in six aspects is proficient teachers >experience teachers > novice teachers,which shows that with the extension of teaching time and the accumulation of teaching experience,teachers’ PCK level is constantly improving.2.Comparing the scores of six aspects of teachers’ PCK,the scores of three types of teachers in "knowledge analysis of students" are low,which indicates that teachers need to investigate students’ knowledge level more fully and comprehensively before carrying out classroom activities,and carry out teaching activities more targeted.According to the results of this study,combined with the actual situation of biology teaching in Xuchang City,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of PCK for senior high school biology teachers:(1)High school biology teachers should have a correct professional view of teachers.While improving their teaching ability,teachers should change their thinking and establish the concept of lifelong learning.Teachers not only have the identity of "teacher",but also have the identity of "student".Teachers need to further strengthen the learning of biological education professional knowledge and improve their own biological teaching concept in theory.(2)The school should establish a perfect collective lesson preparation system.The school should encourage and strengthen the communication and cooperation among all types of teachers,realize the collision of different teaching ideas through collective lesson preparation and rich teaching and research activities,and improve the teaching innovation ability of teachers’ team.(3)In depth study of knowledge about students.Senior high school can carry out questionnaire survey on biology knowledge of all new students,make statistical analysis on the breadth and depth of students’ knowledge,and do a good job in the connection between junior high school knowledge and senior high school knowledge.(4)Be a reflective teacher.Thinking about the same class in different periods and different angles.That is,reflection immediately after class,review at the end of the term,review in the third round of senior high school;Teachers need to reflect from the perspective of teachers,but also from the perspective of students. |
