Cadres are the main actors of the decision-makers in universities, and take important roles in the specific work of the management and organization for the development of colleges and universities. With the practical needs of cadre management in universities and cadres corruption occurs frequently, there is an urgent need to expand related research to propose a fast and efficient cadre management decision support. However, from the previous reseaches, scholars seldom focus on the data mining and cadre management. University management problems also just stay in the qualitative analysis and failed to university cadre management using data mining. Both organically combine the relevant data more in-depth and comprehensive analysis. This thesis attempts to explore data mining techniques to the university cadre management, try to figure out how does university use data mining techniques for cadre management, and improve the quality of cadres' management, which is significance for the implementation of information management and supervision of leading cadres, hence it is a valuable research.This thesis firstly describes the feasibility and necessity of university cadre management using the method of data mining, it mainly describes from three aspects of data mining feasibility:The first aspect is about the introduction on data mining technology itself. The second aspect is about the data mining technology's application in the fields of financial management, retail, customer relationship management, e-commerce and other industries. The third is about the university cadre management problems, situation and characteristics. In this thesis we also introduce the data mining from two aspects:one is to improve the university cadre management, and the other is to prevent the university cadre corruption and improve the overall quality of cadres by promoting the healthy and sustainable development of university education.As for the second major research is empirical analysis of data mining techniques of the university cadre management. The basic flow of this part is through empirical analysis to show the data mining methods selection, data mining analysis and other effects. (1) we take the thesis based on the university cadre management related issues of university cadres'questionnaires, and compiled university cadre management questionnaire scale. (2) followed by analysis of data mining, this thesis compared several kinds of commonly used data mining modeling tools, and according to the characteristics of cadres, the SPSS Modeler is first selected to build the model, and then use the MATLAB algorithm, FCM algorithm clustered different staff by comparative analysis after data preprocessing of the cadre evaluation data, and CART algorithm is applied to build a decision tree model to analyze the importance of the attributes and the total score to forecast analysis. (3) The thesis targeted to explore the university cadre selection and appointment management, education and training and assessment oversight coping strategies and approaches. According to the analitical results, readers could have a clearer understanding of the overall situation and the factors that influence the cadre, which highlights the importance and urgency of university and educate cadres. On the other hand, in a deep understanding of realities in the presence of cadres on the basis of university management strategy, we can make more targeted strategy development and feasibility.In a word, we will combine the data from theoretical and empirical research methods in this thesis. The objective of this thesis is to:further enriching the university cadre management reseaches; data-mining technology as a manner to broaden the cadre management of universities; building the platform and improving training quality of university cadre leadership. In short, the cadres take important roles in the University, but the quality of its training and development are directly related to the future prospects of higher education institutions and would have influence on the whole society.
