Research On The Level And Regional Distribution Of Competitive Sports In Hubei Province

Hubei province has always been a major province of China’s competitive sports, for a long time, Hubei for the country to transport numerous outstanding athletic talent, and achieved remarkable results. But with the group of old players retired, Hubei Province sports gradually decline, reaction in Hubei Province Sports comprehensive strength of national ranking also corresponding appears to be slipping. Although in Hubei Province in recent years have a few athletes in individual projects achieved good results, but the statistics show, the number of elite athletes in Hubei Province is still a downward trend,and reserve talents lack, the development of competitive sports may fall into the "successors". In order to make the competitive sports has a good foundation, not only to pay attention to the development of competitive sports, but also pay attention to the development of school physical education, mass sports, strive to achieve universal participation, enhance the influence of sports, so as to the development of competitive sports in Hubei and lay a solid foundation.The through literature review, case analysis, mathematical statistics, logic analysis,expert discussion and other research methods, from the point of view of regional development of the PE, in different areas of Hubei Province economic cultural level, social development, sports resources, on the level of Hubei Province, competitive sports,distribution characteristics of project and the regional distribution characteristics are studied, and combined with the achievement of National Games was analyzed.Research results show that:Sports events in Hubei province can be divided into 3 levels: advantages, potential advantages and the development of the project. Tennis, rowing, gymnastics, badminton,boxing, swimming, canoeing and other seven projects for competitive sports in Hubei Province advantage project.Weightlifting, modern pentathlon, wrestling, basketball,football, diving for potential advantage projects of Hubei Provincel. Hubei Province,competitive sports to be the development of the project for the track and field, speed racing,shooting, table tennis, national sports.The regional distribution of competitive sports in Hubei province is different, and the development is not balanced. Particle characteristics as a whole of from the area of the project, Wuhan sports in the province is still in leading position, Jianghan Plain is relatively average, in Western Hubei and Eastern characteristics but also the disadvantage,the area in Hubei province appeared in the "leaning branch phenomenon.The adjustment of sports development policy, the layout of the sports industry, sports culture, sports in Hubei development, colleges and universities in Hubei Province athletics sports reserve personnel training influence competitive sports projects in Hubei Province of the regional distribution. Through the investigation and analysis, the main problems in current development of competitive sports in Hubei Province has the following several points: first, Hubei Province athletics sports development is slow, needs to be improved, in the last few games, the performance of Hubei Province in long-term in the middle and lower reaches of the second group and is facing greater pressure. Second, Hubei economic development is not balanced. Third, there is a certain brain drain phenomenon. Fourth, the layout of the project needs to be further standardized.
