Research On University Students' Identity Of The Core Socialist Values In The Context Of The New Media

As the information technology improving, the new media appeared in people's field of vision. With an amazing speed, the new media has become a necessity of people's study, work and life, and has brought great change for our society. With enjoying convenience form the new media, people's thoughts and values are also influenced by all kinds of information from the new media. This phenomenon has presented a new challenge that improving people's identity of the core socialist values.University students, as the future of our motherland, their value is not only related to their own healthy growth, but also related to the further development of our country's future. In the context of the new media, the contemporary university students as the largest audience of the new media, the situation of university students' identity of the core socialist values has attracted great attention of researchers. In the context of the new media, what are the problems of university students' identity of the core socialist values? What are the reasons for these problems? What should we do about improving university students' identity of the core socialist values? These problems constitute the basic idea of this research.In order to reflect the situation of university students' identity of the core socialist values in the context of the new media, the author made an empirical research on university students in five different regions and attributes in Sichuan Province. After collated and analyzed these questionnaires and the interview, we discovered that in the context of the new media, the work of university students' identity of the core socialist values has achieved some success. But with the achievements, there are some problems that can not be ignored:Firstly, university students' cognition-identity of the core socialist values seems one-sided. Secondly, the level of university students' emotion-identity of the core socialist values seems low. Thirdly, the university students' behavior-identity of the core socialist values and the cognition-identity, emotion-identity is inconsistent.There are many reasons that caused these problems above. But from the perspective of the new media, the reasons mainly include there parts. Firstly, the new media brought a serious challenge to the traditional ideological and political education. Secondly, in the context of the new media, the misleading information in society can lead to multiple values impacting each other. Thirdly, the new media has caused great changes in the way of university students'identity. For the above reasons, we should do the following three things. At first, we need to use the new media to promote the innovation of the ideological and political education in universities. In addition, we should promote our society to strengthen the positive guidance of the identity of the core socialist values in the context of the new media. At last, we also must explore the way of education and guidance to adapt to the new way of university students' identity. Only in this way, it can truly achieve the goal that university students' identity of the core socialist values.The first innovation of this research is the unique perspective. This research has broken the general perspective of the previous research on the university students' identity of the core socialist values, and it chooses a new research perspective--new media, which influence the university students'identity of the core socialist values. This research arrived at the problems of the university students' identity and some reasons that caused these problems from the perspective of new media, and put forward some effective measures in the context of the new media. These things are all show the characteristics of the times. In addition, another advantage of this research is that all the conclusions are based on the empirical research of five different universities in Sichuan Province. All the data is authentic and irreplaceable. In short, this research will provide a richer material and reference for the future work of cultivating and practicing the core socialist values.
