Research On The Contemporary University Students' Identity Of Socialist Core Values

Socialist core values are value-oriented of scientific socialism, are the core values of common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and are value sublimation and highly generalization of the national spirit with patriotism as the core, the time spirit with reform and innovation as the core, and the socialist concept of honor and disgrace. Socialist core values play a determining and guided role in university students'thinking and behavior. The university is very important in socialist core values education. As the highest level of our national education, it is the base of the development of Socialism with Chinese characteristics' qualified builders and reliable successors. So research on the university students' identity of socialist core values helps to grasp the development tendency of the university students' values, enhances the pertinence and effectiveness of education on university students' world outlook, outlook on life and values, and provides the theoretical guarantee of cultivating university spirit and harmonious campus.Based on the investigation and analysis of the university students' identity of socialist core values, we can fully understand the status of the university students' identity of socialist core values, and the reason for some students lack of identity of socialist core values, with which we could provide the scientific basis and reference conditions of solving the crisis of university students' values, and effectively implement the students'socialist core values education. The permeability of western culture and values, social transformation and the socialist market economy bring a series of negative effects, and university education mechanism is unsound, publicity guide and university teachers' exemplary role is not strong enough, the network impacts on university students, and the students themselves' learning of socialist core values is not accord with the practice of it. In view of the above situation, we solve them from three levels of education institutions, teachers and students themselves, the education institutions should establish and perfect the education mechanism, strengthen the construction of campus culture, and give full play to the role of network; the teachers should strengthen their morality, clear moral education teaching aim, and close to the student's hearts and practical; the students themselves should strengthen theoretical knowledge, take an active part in the social practice, and the party members and cadres should play model leading roles in learning and practicing socialist core values.To sum up, the research on the university students' identity of socialist core values is a contemporary issues, it needs further research and discussion in order to provide important theoretical support for the socialist core values education of university students, and enhance its effectiveness. The ultimate purpose is to train qualified builders and reliable successors for the sustainable development of education and our country's prosperity.
