With the rapid development of network and information technology, micro-lesson has come into being in the education field. The micro-lesson, a new kind of learning resource, has widely drawn the attention of the domestic educational circles because of its clear goals, convenient use, clear subjects and so on. However, the micro-lesson of high school mathematics lacks the standardized design pattern and definite teaching content.Based on the related literature of the micro-lesson and the interview of some expert teachers, this paper proposes some basic strategies about selecting the teaching content of mathematics micro-lesson. First of all, the overall analysis would be carried out based on the chapter, the module or the special subject, then the concrete content would be cut through the analysis results; finally the content of the micro-lesson would be selected according to the curriculum standard. Based on the above, this paper presents the basic principle which teachers should abide by in designing micro-lesson. At the same time, this paper attempts to construct a new general model of mathematics micro-lesson, and describes the various stages of the model in details. At last, several typical cases of mathematics micro-lesson are provided to verify the feasibility of the proposed design pattern in this paper.
