The problem of aging in our country is becoming more and more serious, and the problem of old-age pension becomes a difficult problem to be solved.Firstly,as for population policy's adjustment,In order to alleviate the pressure caused by the increasing aging population, the government recently proposed "the universal two-child" policy. The government put forward the policy of "let go of two children" to change the family structure of four two one,and finally alleviate the burden of the children.Secondly,As for education investment, education Investment has long been considered as the important part for the entire country and every citizen. It can not only contribute to economic and social development in macro aspect, but also help people have more competitiveness and money in micro aspect. The balance between education spending and pension support has always been the matter focused by demographic field. But,whether the more adult children will bring more benefits to the parents and ease the pressure on the pension is a big question. This provides a good perspective for me to do some research concerning the link between the number?the educational level of children and the financial support received by old parents.Specifically,If the adult children who receives junior?high and technical secondary and University education, the amount of financial support will increase about 21.5%,43.8%,93.6..An additional child the family have, the amount of financial support will fall about 10.2%.In addition, the empirical results also show that the effect of children's gender on their financial support to their parents is significant, and the son of the elderly parents can provide more financial support. If the parents' physical condition is better, they can receive more economic support from their children.Old parents who live with adult children will receive different amount of financial support compared with who don't.The children who don't live with their parents will give less amount financial support to their parents who are not live along, the amount will fall about 10%.The economic condition and family structure are different,so the empirical outcome in city are different from that in countryside.Whether it is in the countryside or in the city,if children's education level is improved, the financial support given to their parents will be more and more. The Urban families have one more children, the effect of "take a ride" will be more evident than rural families.
