Study On Yingmenquan In Jiangxi Province

Jiangxi Yingmenquan is one of the representative traditional martial art in Jiangxi province.It together with Zimenquan and Famenquan are considered as the three great traditional martial arts of Jiangxi.It has unique technical advantages and rich cultural deposits.This essay mainly takes the methods of field research,talk research,literature materials,logical analysis and so on,choosing the Yingmenquan's training places such as Ji An,Nanchang,Feng Cheng and so on as the fieldwork sites in order to make a deep research on the development and the present situation of Yingmenquan,talk about the details of the various histories and theories in different places of Jiangxi,and get the meaning of the value of Yingmenquan in its historical develpment.The following comes as the research results.(1)Yingmenquan originates from Yue Jia Quan created by the great hero,Yue Fei.Its birthplace is “Jiang Zhou”,which is now named Jiu Jiang.It is one of the most important sort of Quan of Chinese traditional martial arts.It has a complete system with colourful factions.It's a symbol of Jiangxi's martial art and it is the foundation of Jiangxi's martial art's development.From the messy ancient society to now,Yingmenquan can always adjust to any dynasty and it can be relatively reserved,which makes it the foundation of Jiangxi's trditional sports.In the rapidly developing modern society,it has a deep meaning of how to protect and make use of Yingmenquan to meet the time's needs.(2)”Heroism” is the spiritual basis of Yingmenquan.Yingmenquan was born by Yue Jia Quan,which was created 800 years ago and had a large popularity in the public from all over the country.Yingmenquan has been developing and transfering from Yue Jia Quan.Thus,it has become a native sort of Quan filled with Jiangxi's features,including the traditional advantages and cultural deposits.Obviously,the development of Yingmenquan till now has a close relationship with the spiritual meaning of Yue Jia Quan.As the great general of Song Dynasty,Yue Fei has been the Chinese famous hero,whose spirits against the enemy motivates the decendants vastly.The power and competence of Yingmenquan has deeply revealed the heroic spirits of Chinese people.(3)The protection and development of Jiangxi's native martial art represented by Yingmenquan is vital to us.And to keep the original essence is the importance of theimportance.Only in that way can we continually change.To reserve is to protect and change.The development of Yingmenquan in modern society couldn't exist without the protective systems of all the aspects.The policy of reserving the intangible cultural heritage makes a great difference to Yingmenquan.The period of the influence is long too.Only when the traditional martial art has a better reservation can they have enough developing spaces,rather than be lost through the process of development.(4)At the present,the competitiveness of traditional culture is weaker and weaker.According to the situation,the development of Yingmenquan should foster strengths and avoid weaknesses.The function of Yingmenquan to protect ourselves from harm and fight against the enemy has a very practical meaning.However,the characteristics of Yingmenquan makes it hard to adjust nowadays' social value.Through the process of inheriting and digging out the potential of the tradition,we should make sure to take actions to creative efforts and advancement with the times.Only when Yingmenquan adjusts to the development of society can it won't be weed out by it.(5)Modern research on Jiangxi's traditional martial arts is relatively few.Moreover,the research on its details is rarer.This essay will make Yingmenquan as the object of the study,take the advantages of field research,synthesize the theories and spirits,settle the origin and development from its history,and demonstrate the development of Yingmenquan vividly.Indeed,the research fills the blank of the study about JIangxi's Yingmenquan and it has a vital effect on the reservation of Yingmenquan.
