Study Of "World Traditional Wushu Championships" In View Of Sports Event

Today, the social mobility is unprecedented, and the exchanges of the social information become multiple. Wushu race evolutes from the ancient race into a combination of Wushu techniques, culture and cultural space, and highlights the value of the communicative function, and the role has become even more eye-catching in the spread of Wushu. However, there are many problems in the Wushu race. Although some scholars and experts have done some researches in this area, yet so far, Wushu race have been studied from the function, value and significance, and from the perspective of sports race, there are still rarely systematic and deep research on the Wushu typical race.In this view, from the perspective of sports races, regarding the world's largest and most influential traditional Wushu race-"World Traditional Wushu Festival"(1991-2010) as the research object, through using the methods of literature, questionnaires, expert interviews, statistics, logical analysis and other methods of comprehensive application, combined with communication, management and related subjects such as marketing, this paper does a targeted and systematic research on the past, present and the process of the World Traditional Wushu Festival, besides this, the paper also studies the impact of successive races on local development, and the current development status (the situation of the opening ceremony , planning and package, the project settings, organizational model, changes of participating countries, form features of the participants). According to race problems and practical races, this paper proposes solutions in these two aspects of race construction and the publicity and promotion, based on the existing problems, difficulties and opportunities from the questionnaires and visits.In the last decade of the 20th century, the whole country is full of vitality. The government of Zhengzhou is in the bid to host Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival in China in the year of 1991, vie the opportunity of the State promoting Wushu and adapting to the need of foreign enthusiasts, in order to make the Shaolin Wushu famous all over the world, and the former seventh World Traditional Wushu Festival will be the past. In 2004, China's Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival upgrades into the World Traditional Wushu Festival, experienced twice in Zhengzhou, twice in Shiyan, which affects a profound impact on the economic, cultural and other social aspects of Zhengzhou and Shiyan.World Traditional Wushu Festival faces the same problem as that of all the Wushu races; that is the loss of Wushu mass, less satisfaction with the enjoyment of the races and the personalized service, and the holding of other international Wushu races, which forms the fierce environment of the International Wushu competitive race.Although at present, the World Traditional Wushu Festival has problems and difficulties in various degrees, yet the overall development is more satisfying. Organizers enhance the visibility and visibility of races and create a strong cultural atmosphere and commercial opportunities, vie the combination of nature and culture, the tourism dissolved into Wushu. The character of the local Wushu reflects the strongly traditional Wushu flavor, and the participating countries are distributed throughout all continents, which attract many domestic and foreign competition groups.The World Traditional Wushu Festival has a very good prospect. The current policies of sports development formulated by the state are fine, and the Ministry of Education supports for the Wushu entering the primary and middle schools, which enhance the social status of Wushu. Nowadays, the social pace changes fast, and the modern concept of health tends to fitness, therefore, the health function of Wushu is paid more attention. Our nation pays more attention to the innovation and discovery of the traditional culture, and promotes Chinese in the need of using Wushu as a carrier.According to existing problems, facing difficulties and potential opportunities of the World Traditional Wushu Festival, the paper proposes to improve the organization of races, implement the responsibility of each group, increase important groups to solve major issues, optimize the structure of human resource, and introduce professional personnel of races, focus on the two main groups to meet the needs of athletes and spectators, strengthen scientific management, do good preparations before races, and promote human services in the race construction. Besides, in the publicity and promotion, we continue to rely on government support, the famous media planning and play-oriented role in promoting the participation of other medias, and pay more attention to meet the media's needs to strengthen media cooperation, in order to improve the exposure of races, and the contents promoted focus on the Wushu culture so as to explore cultural values and enhance the depth of the coverage.
