Writing is a kind of language output,and is also a kind of integrated embodiment of language knowledge,which can fully reflect the students' language level.English writing occupies the important proportion in the College Entrance Examination,but as a result of domestic English learning breaking away from the English language environment,students'English acquisition is often affected by Chinese,which makes students' English difficult to be improved.Errors in the English writing has always been an important research aspect,but the studies only on grammatical errors in high school students English writing due to negative transfer of mother tongue are rare.From the perspective of collected and relative literature data analysis,the existing research results paid more attention to the present situation and the causes of the negative transfer of mother tongue in the English writing and analyzed the influence mechanism and measures of negative transfer of mother tongue from the perspective of theory.In domestic related studies,the authors focused on either the studies on errors under the influence of negative transfer of mother tongue or the study on the phenomenon of negative transfer of mother tongue in English writing,but they seldom focused on the studies only on grammatical errors in high school students' English writings due to negative transfer of mother tongue.This study focuses on investigating the present situation and the causes on grammatical errors in high school students' English writings caused by negative transfer of mother tongue.Based on the theory of error analysis,the author studied the impact of students' English writings due to negative transfer of mother tongue.And grammatical sentences correction are added to the pre-test and the post-test because the improvement of correction ability is one of the main ways to reduce and overcome negative transfer of mother tongue.In the research subjects of sample analysis,the related errors on verb due to the phenomenon of negative transfer of mother tongue are analyzed emphatically:errors on transitive verbs and intransitive verbs,modal verb,the verb tense and voice in the predicate verb and non-finite verb.The aspects above were classified carefully and detailed analysis were made.Meanwhile,the specific and targeted solutions were put forward.It is the innovation to write articles from the above viewpoint.Experiment is designed to explore three issues:1.What are the main grammatical errors in high school students' English writings?2.Why do these grammatical errors appear in high school students' English writings?3.How can students effectively overcome grammatical errors caused by the language transfer of native language in English writings?The author adopted the qualitative and quantitative research to carry out the sixteen-week experiment with 112 students from Pan Shan county senior high school as survey subjects.The reform of teaching methods was implemented to help students overcome the negative transfer of mother tongue and reduce grammar errors in the writing in the experimental classes.While the conventional writing teaching strategies were carried out in the comparative class.the author analyzed the results of the survey,collected and classified the grammatical errors from the samples in the pre-test and analyzed the main causes by the theory of error analysis.Based on the findings above,the author carried out the post-test and collected the grammatical errors in the samples after sixteen-week teaching strategies.The experiment selected the qualitative and quantitative research,including writing tests and questionnaires and the test is divided into pre-test and post-test.After the experiment,the author made a correlation coefficient analysis on the collected data in the pre-test and the post-test ith the software SPSS 19.0 to explore whether there is significant difference on the data in the comparative class and the experimental class.If the mean of grammatical errors in the experimental class in the post-test is lower than that in the comparative class,then the teaching methods adopted by the author to reduce the grammar errors in writing are feasible and effective.
