Study On The Leftover Men In The Rural Area

China's leftover men mainly live in rural areas,it is because of the vast rural poor natural conditions,the undeveloped economy and the cultural and educational backwardness.The existence of large rural leftover men in the countryside not only affects their own lives,but also affects the harmony and stability of the society.Therefore,it is very important to study the causes of the leftover men in rural areas and take practical measures to help them out of their predicament.Taking the A village of Hunan town as a case,through the investigation on A village's economy,education,culture and natural conditions and several leftover men visited,using the theory of resource exchange and marriage gradient,this paper describes the mating status of the leftover men and analyses the objective reasons and impacts of leftover men.Therefore,this paper tries to take some advice to solve this problem.The government should introduce targeted guidance policies as soon as possible,pay more attention to poverty alleviation work in underdeveloped areas,promote the balanced development of urban and rural areas;increase the rural surplus of male power assistance by creating a rural community platform to create more opportunities for the marriage dating men left;move to reduce the cost of marriage,reduce the male and family marriage and financial burden.The leftover men themselves should should also take a positive attitude to enhance learning,improve their ability and self-worth.At the same time,the leftover men should gradually change the concept of marriage as moving to bride's family should be regarded as a good choice.
