The teaching of English writing has always been a difficult problem for English teachers.Compared to English reading and English achievement due to continuous improvement of teaching methods,teaching mode in the course of writing teaching in rural middle school teaching mode is still old,slow to improve students' English writing ability,writing classroom teaching effect is not ideal.Under the guidance of the theory of advanced writing,through the classroom practice,the formation of effective writing teaching strategies and models is imminent.The process writing approach emphasizes that the instructor should observe and guide the process of the learner's writing,and the emphasis is on the process of writing rather than the revision of the finished product.Through the interaction between teachers and students,students and students,students from before to grasp this article.In theory,the process of teaching emphasizes the formation of thinking in the process of writing,the author's own point of view of the article and support examples.And in the final emphasis on grammar,vocabulary.Let the students grasp the overall grasp of the details of the article,writing is a manifestation of the comprehensive utilization of language ability.In view of existing problems in writing teaching of junior middle school,the study uses action research approach to conduct experiments from two classes of an ordinary junior middle school in Yingshang,in order to explore whether the process writing approach can improve students' writing ability and whether it has a positive influence on students' writing strategy,writing interests and team cooperation consciousness.The study consists of the following parts: first,discuss the current situation of junior middle school writing teaching through the questionnaire paper;second,look up books and papers,discuss with teachers and professors,finally put forward to use the process writing approach in writing teaching and make up action plans for the research,conduct the first period action,reflect and modify the action plan in the process;third,conduct the second period action,collect material,analyze data.The major findings are presented as follows: first,process writing approach is more effective than product writing approach in developing students' writing interests,especially in pre-writing step;second,compared with product writing approach,process writing approach can improve students' writing strategy and cultivate good writing habits;third,process writing approach serves better than product writing approach to build up students' self-study ability and cooperation ability.Though process writing approach is an effective teaching method under present real situation,English teachers should change and modify their procedures more effectively according to the real condition.
