Critical thinking ability is the inherent requirement of the development of The Times and is one of the important goals in the educational circle.In the middle of the 20 th century,western countries began to study critical thinking,and in the 1980 s our country began to study it.In 2001 the ministry of education promulgated "ordinary high school language curriculum standard" also has several expressions about critical thinking,it shows that has an important position in the field of critical thinking in the teaching.To understand the current situation of high school students critical thinking,this article will pick pingding county first middle school as the research object,by questionnaire method,interview method,literature method,supplemented by classroom observation,for the high school to grade three students in the research,the study found that high school students critical thinking development.First,critical thinking is thin;Second,students rarely reflect on the content of the text.Finally,students are less engaged in reading the classroom,most of the time listening to the teacher's analysis of the text.High school is the golden stage of students' critical thinking,and we should cultivate students' critical thinking based on the development of high school thought.In this paper,the author analyzes the causes of critical thinking and the research of critical thinking at home and abroad.Second,the concept of critical thinking and the relationship between critical thinking and Chinese reading teaching;Third,the reasons for the general lack of critical thinking among high school students in our country are analyzed.Finally,countermeasures and Suggestions are put forward for the critical thinking of high school students in our country.The aim is to provide a reference for building efficient classroom,and to cultivate more critical thinking in the new generation of middle school students.
