Reserach On Online Learning Behavior Modeling Of Adult Learners

With the continuous development of the social requirements for the quality of talents,online learning has become the main way for adults to get continuing education and lifelong education.Meanwhile,the overwhelming development of Internet and information technology also promote personalized learning an inevitable trend of "Internet+education".Online learning has produced the huge and complex learning behavior data.How to use intelligent technology and automatic tools to process and analyze these data and how to get the hidden information in the data,such as the characteristics of learners and internal relations,and use these conclusions to do personalized service and promote the effective learning has become the most important problem of the study.This paper describes the background and significance of adults online learning behavior and analysis of the study situation at home and abroad,then made a comprehensive introduction and a brief review of two theory and three concepts.This paper gives a definition of the category of adult learners and analysis of adult learning behavior characteristics.From the diverse perspectives of learning basic information,learning style,knowledge level and behavior pattern,multiplex adult learners model is constructed.Then from the four dimensions of learning process,learning environment,learning analysis,the application of personalized services,to construct of learning analytics model based on the learner-centered idea,hope to achieve personalized learning,personalized teaching and personalized learning environment construction.Aim to provide guidance for the functional design of the personalized learning system.Finally,based on Sakai platform of Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications,adult learners as the object,through the guidance of the two models,design for three types of typical functions of personalized learning system.Including data platform of visual and display,personalized recommended of learning resources and learning feedback to achieve personalized learning environment.This study aims to construct the adult learner model and learning analytics model.They are guides for the design of personalized learning function of system construction.We hope that adult learners can meet the learning needs,achieve personalized learning and enhance the learning efficiency through online learning.
