Accompanying with the deepening of national education reform,a series of relevant documents have been issued to promote the health development of school sports.Under the guidance of national relevant documents,sports teaching in colleges and universities should follow the guiding ideology of "health first" to cultivate the students' sports consciousness,habit and ability,and promote the formation of "lifetime sports"."The guidance outline of physical education teaching" is an important part of the sports curriculum reform of regular institutions of higher learning,and the summary on experience accumulation and teaching reform of sports curriculum for a long time,and teaching guidance document issued by Ministry of Education for physical education curriculum.and the gist for formulating the physical education curriculum syllabus and developing and estimating the physical education curriculum.According to the provisions in the "Outline",the universities should set a variety of types of physical education curriculums faced to all students.At the same time,the universities should break the original department and class organizational system to recombine in class in order to meet the requirements of students from different levels and different interest.Therefore,according to the requirements of the "Outline".Chinese public sports courses of common colleges and universities have gradually formed a public physical education curriculum provision system with"elective course" as the main mode.Relying on entertainment.exercise.appreciation,convenience and other characteristics.badminton has become one of the popular sports among college students.At the same time.badminton played an important role to promote the formation of "lifetime sports".The success of badminton teaching in colleges and universities reflected whether the badminton teaching plan is scientific and whether the effect is remarkable from a certain extent.Therefore,in order to further establish the physical education curriculum system which aims at enhancing the level of student health and self exercise ability,and to promote the full implement of "The guidance outline of physical education teaching" in national common colleges and universities,it is necessary to further research and the discuss the public sports badminton class teaching in the colleges and universities of Xinxiang City.By document literature method,questionnaire survey,field interview method,mathematical statistics,logic analysis and other research methods,the author consulted a large amount of related literatures and other colleges and universities sports teaching books such as Teaching and Learning Theory,Physical Education Curriculum Theory,Psychology of Physical Education,and School Physical Education,and also including foreign literature.They laid the theoretical basis for this research.From the actual teaching status of badminton lesson in Xinxiang colleges and universities,the present condition has been surveyed comprehensively.Investigation content includes badminton curriculum setting,teaching conditions,teaching methods,teaching evaluation of Xinxiang universities and equipment and facility of badminton ground as well as the related factors which restricted the development of Xinxiang college badminton teaching.This article analyzes the existing problems and provides feasible countermeasures and rational suggestions for the development of badminton teaching of Xinxiang public sports in colleges and universities.The research results indicate:1 The publicity of badminton sport is insufficient by Xinxiang colleges and universities.The leaders of universities pay less attention on badminton teaching and the knowledge is not enough in-depth,which remains to be further improved.2 The students on badminton class of Xinxiang public sports in colleges and universities have high learning enthusiasm and rich interest while the basic knowledge of badminton and tactics ability are weak.The learning motivations of students are diversified.3 The elective system of badminton class of Xinxiang public sports in colleges and universities is restricted by grade,which is not conducive to teach students in accordance of their aptitude and should be constantly adjusted and optimized.4 The content set of badminton class teaching of Xinxiang public sports in colleges and universities is unreasonable,which has insufficient theory class hours,old teaching methods,unreasonable examination content arrangement and less arrangement on theoretical content.5 The evaluation system of badminton class teaching of Xinxiang public sports in colleges and universities should be further developed.The indicators for performance appraisal on students by teachers are lack of scientificity and rationality.which are not in conformity with the basic requirements of "The guidance outline of physical education teaching" and need to adjust effectively.6 The course teachers of badminton class of Xinxiang public sports in colleges and universities are imperfect.The professional badminton teachers are not that much with insufficient experience.The school gives less chance for teacher training and further education.7 The outside badminton ground of Xinxiang public sports in colleges and universities is damaged greatly.The indoor badminton venue is less and the open time can't meet the demand of the movement of students.8 The badminton match between Xinxiang universities is less and the badminton exchanging match between universities is less too.
