Educational objectives of regular high school are fundamental theory issues and core concept in regular high school education as well as practice issues in regular high school education.It has posed many new challenges for talent training with the prosperous development of knowledge-based economy featured by globalization,information,talent economy and innovation as well as progress and further development in education popularization.Regular high schools are important linking between primary education and advanced education greatly affected by time development and education popularization.Under the background of education popularization especially accelerating high school education popularization process,the paper studies regular high schools' education objectives and systematically explores the changes,existing problems and determinants of regular high school education objectives since 1949 through document research and on the basis of wide reading and sufficient data.In addition,it develops theoretical reflections over educational objectives system construction in regular high school and expounds the rationality of training objective system in regular high schools.The research aims to provide certain references for reform and development of current regular high school education thus to present a thinking for Chinese high school talents training.The paper consists of introduction,three chapters of main body and conclusion in chapter five.The whole paper studies and explores regular high schools' education objectives.The introduction mainly presents the origins,current situations,content and significance of this research.Through overview of popularization and research dynamics of training objectives,it emphasizes the importance of research content and provides thoughts for discussion on existing problems and construction of regular high school educational objectives.The first chapter analyzes the evolution of educational objectives of regular high school and it argues two development stages of unified statement and separate statement.Furthermore,it reviews Chinese regular schools' education objectives from three perspectives of education concept,popularization and globalization.The paper argues there are four major problems in high school education,which are demonstrated in indistinctive separation from other education phases,failure to solving further education andemployment problems,incapability in effectively managing implementation of objectives as well as failure in fully expressing era characteristics as well as social demands.The second chapter explores solutions towards regular high school training objectives.First,based on previous analysis on singleness and diversity of solution strategy,it believes single solution strategy and diverse solution strategies shall be combined to achieve educational objectives.Further,it discusses methods to combine these two types of solution strategies.The training objective of single solution strategy is determined by the state which confirm with national curriculum design concept in Chinese curriculum reform of elementary education.While,the diverse training objectives shall balance local differences and students individual differences.In the third chapter,considering problems in regular high school training objectives and analysis on thoughts of integration of singleness and diversity,it raises an idea of constructing regular high school education objectives system with singleness,diversity and multiple levels.In this chapter,it first expounds the connotation of “singleness,diversity and multiple levels”.The state shall formulate unified and standard regular high schools' educational objectives while the local schools shall develop suitable and diverse cultivation objectives according to their own situations and conditions as well as national education guidance.The national objectives,local objectives,school objectives and curriculum objectives consist of multiple levels of training objectives system.In this chapter,it redefines the primary requirements of national regular high schools' training objectives and it argues regular high school shall allow students to develop knowledge and capabilities in self-recognition,self-adjustment,self-design and self-realization in the process of urging students to master knowledge,develop moral trait and quality so that they can grow from passive educatee to self-education individuals.Secondary,the chapter mainly expounds the rationality of regular high school educational objectives system.It argues that self-education shall fit for neurophysiologic basis of high school students' self-consciousness and mature development of students' self-consciousness.Self-educators are supposed to meet demands of higher education and requirements of employment.Besides,self-education fits for changes and needs of time development.It requires life-time study in knowledge-based economic era and the focus of life-time study is to cultivate students to self-educators.Underself-education influences,diverse and multiple levels of training objectives system mayeffectively perform its regulatory function to manage education activities effectively thus to achieve education objectives.The conclusion part mainly summarizes the research content and expects to carry on further,comprehensive and detailed study in later research thus to find out solutions to problems in regular educational objectives.
