Chemistry is the chemical enlightenment of students in junior middle school.It is not only the enlightenment of chemical knowledge,but also the enlightenment of chemical learning method and chemical discipline.However,in Grade 9,the last year of junior high,school leaders,teachers and parents mainly focus on the senior high school entrance examination,thus chemistry is more like an esoteric subject.Students study hard just to be able to achieve better results in the senior high school entrance examination,but the results are often not satisfactory.Therefore,two questions are raised:How to create the new atmosphere of chemistry learning in Grade 9,help the students cope with the examination easily,master the.chemical learning methods,develop their chemistry learning ability.and cultivate chemistry accomplishment?How should the teachers who are in the dominant position in the teaching process guide the students to learn more effectively?This thesis compares the differences between novice teachers and experienced teachers in the guidance of learning methods from the teachers' points of view.It also evaluates the effectiveness of the guidance.This research has done some theoretical groundwork on the two following aspects:learning methods and guidance of learning methods.Teachers should show the students chemistry learning methods,make them recognize the characteristics and types of chemistry learning methods and help them to select the correct methods.Then they also need to understand the concept,theoretical basis,content and principles and guidance of learning methods.Finally,it is necessary to analyze the learning objectives,content and subject characteristics of chemistry at the compulsory education stage.This research is based on the context of Unit 1 in chemistry text book of PEP.The learning content(basic concept,chemistry scientific exploration,terms and computational Chemistry)and learning procedure(preview,review lectures and examinations)are discussed.The author analyzed the interviews with the teachers and the questionnaires completed by students and drew the following conclusion:The novice teachers have a lack of the guidance of learning methods,and the experienced teachers' guidance of learning methods perform more effectively;Both the novice teachers and experienced teachers need to strengthen the theories of the guidance of learning methods,and apply the theories in practice;The experienced teachers need to reflect on their guidance of learning methods and summarize the effective methods to form learning guidance system.
