A Study On The Methods Of Sloving The Conic Curve Problems In High School

As a combination of geometry,algebra and curve,analytic geometry is the difficult point of the college entrance examination.In high school,the core of it is conic section,which mainly acquires for the synthesis of the five basic ability that curriculum requires.For the examining of conic,the styles of the objective items are flexible;Subjective items ask for the abilities of calculating and understanding and its representation is varies,so how the students understanding of the conic?What should students do to have a significant effect for cone?This article was divided by several parts as follows:Analyzing the common errors of the students during the process of dealing with conic and the reason of that by questionnaire lay the foundation of the article.In this process,we found that some students were not familiar with the basic knowledge of this section which leads to these results.Most Students did not form the consciousness of classification and did not have the solving steps for the corresponding subject,so students wasted some time on the understanding of the question but the accuracy is very low.Some students lack the ability of dealing totality,especially in the strategy of problem solving.Next is the basic knowledge of conic,including elliptic,parabolic and hyperbolic.The prove of some important knowledge were presented anf the conclusions of others are given.For the analysis of the new standard questions in the past five years,we summed up the eight questions and the applicability problem solving steps are also given.The use of higher geometry or higher mathematics knowledge to solve the problem of three kinds of conic section glues the high school knowledge and university knowledge together,develops the mathematical views of students and arise the students' interest in mathematics learning.Finally,the suggestions of studying conic were presented.
