For the research methods of physical problems, Archimedes was the first one to use the mathematical methods in the third century BC; after that of 1800 years, Galileo introduced the experimental method and made a tremendous contribution in the development of natural science because of the combination of mathematical and experimental method. The same as the research methods in natural science,this combination is also the basic study method for middle school students. In order to solve problems correctly,we need to analyze the basic quantitative data contained in the research problem,and in this analysis process, the reasoning ability such as proportion, probability and some other related reasoning is necessary. This reasoning ability is explicit for scientific reasoning level and internalization as the development of internal psychological cognitive structure under comprehensive factors. Middle school students should have this ability and the current status quo of students'scientific reasoning ability is worthy to study.In this study, about 200 senior high school students in Tianjin were chose as the research object and completed questionnaires which are an educational research method. At the end,comparing and evaluating these student's questionnaire test results and their academic performance and junior high school levels.Firstly, students of different grade of scientific reasoning ability of the longitudinal analysis, analysis of test results, there is a significant correlation between scientific reasoning ability and the age of the students,further confirmed that there is a strong theoretical guidance for the teaching of Piaget's theory of cognitive development of middle school students;At the same time, through the investigation of junior high school students in nature, horizontal analysis, the reasoning results showed that there was significant correlation between the nature of students' reasoning ability and reasoning ability of students of junior high school, junior high school students was significantly higher than that of the key reasoning ability of non key junior high school; the differences between male and female students in scientific reasoning ability the research results show that there is no significant difference between male and female students in scientific reasoning, but scientific reasoning students average slightly higher than girls; this thesis focuses on the development situation of physical dimension push capability were analyzed by sub high school students, while the sub dimension of reasoning ability and academic achievement correlation analysis by comparing the proportion of reasoning, significantly affect the development of reasoning ability of control variables and probability reasoning problem solving ability of students.Finally, based on the analysis of the results, and the thesis summary, from the perspective of long-term development of middle school science teaching is how to adapt to the students in the form of thinking level provides the effectiveness of their views, provides some teaching suggestions to improve the external conditions of interaction in the sub dimension of science students reasoning ability for their future teaching and research directions are discussed.
