Research On The System Of Financial Performance Evaluation Of Provincial Colleges And Universities

The research on the financial performance of colleges and universities began at the end of the last century. Up to now, many scholars create and enrich the content of financial performance evaluation in colleges and universities from scratch. However, we still lack a financial performance evaluation system which can be completely meet practical needs. In order to correctly know the present situation of provincial colleges and universities and scientifically evaluate the purpose of financial performance of provincial colleges and universities,I will study on the financial performance of the provincial colleges and universities, especially on the construction of evaluation system, through comparing the similarities and differences natures of day-to-day operation between enterprises, institutions and non-profit organizations.In this paper, the object of study is provincial colleges and universities. According to the accounting system of colleges and universities, I have designed indexes by caption of account and have increased risk performance, budget performance and management performance. What'more, all the indexes are measurable. The main train of thought in this paper is: (1) Screening preliminary indexes by questionnaire method; (2) Analyzing data by confirmatory factor analysis; (3) Calculating the weight and evaluation results according to the entropy method and weight grade method; (4) Finally, constructing the evaluation index system of provincial colleges and universities financial performance completely; (5) Prove the operability of the evaluation system with the relevant data of S University, analyse the existing problems and put forward some reasonable suggestions. The multi-index financial performance evaluation system of provincial colleges and 'universities which I design, including operation ability,paying ability, debt paying ability, risk coping ability, budget realization ability and management ability. With this evaluation system, provincial colleges and universities not only can know and rethink its daily financial operation, but also can compare the financial situation of other provincial universities in this region. Through the results of our system,provincial colleges and universities could know a lot about operation in thoes days by the numbers. In addition, it can help to guide or optimize provincial colleges and university's direction, to be out of the financial dilemma and make scientific decisions.
