The Enlightening Role Of Analysis Of NCEE Papers In Chemistry Teaching

National College Entrance Examination(NCEE) is a recruitment exam for qualified senior high school students or the equivalent. The examination plays a very important role in guiding senior high school teaching, of which the teachers are the core character. Teachers' level of professionalism, which can be improved efficiently by analyzing the papers of NCEE,has a great effect on the test results of students.The paper takes the examination papers of the Science Comprehensive Capability Test of NEEC(2013—2016) as the research subject and analyzes the test questions relevant to the modular of The Principle of Chemical Reaction. The perspective, the contents as well as the question-solving procedures of the test questions are the emphasis of the research, from which some feasible teaching proposals are drawn.The research shows that in the past four years, the senior high school students are examined scientifically through the Science Comprehensive Capability Tests of the NCEE, which all strictly followed the Exam Outline and the Test Explanation.Ability test is the core of the NCEE, in which students' accomplishment of Chemistry is tested roundly. There exists little change in the total score of Chemistry test questions,which contain all the knowledge points in each chapter ofChemistry text books. In addition, in the past 4 years, the major test points keep the same, with some new ones appearing.Apart from several rather difficult test questions, the whole level of the test keeps moderate, which not only reflects the emphasis on basic knowledge, but is proper to the new curriculum reform. The test questions are based on the text book and test the students mainly in the following aspects, such as, basic and major Chemistry knowledge, the newly added knowledge, and students' way of thinking. According to the research, the emphasis of Chemistry teaching should be put on the basic and core knowledge with a thoroughly understanding of the text book.The teachers should pay more attention to the cultivation of students' ability to grasp new knowledge and the proper way of thinking and learning, rather than dull explanation and exercises.
