A Research On The Effect Of The Hot TV Plays On The Contemporary Youth's Values

This paper takes the hot TV plays in the recent 5 years as examples,mainly analyzing the positive and negative effect of different kinds of hot TV plays on the youth's values,aiming to know the cultural influence of hot TV plays and find effective references from the analysis of various TV plays.Meanwhile,the researcher has tried to analyze the youth's decodings for hot TV plays,find out the characteristics of their values and put forward some measures to guide the youth to establish proper values in their life.The researcher has tried to learn about the relevant achievements of the hot TV plays from home and abroad,which has an effect on the youth's values through the literature research in order to make the research direction clear.Next,the researcher has tried to make an interview and a questionnaire to investigate the peculiarities of hot TV plays among the youth from the 8 universities in Guizhou Province by empirical study.Then,the researcher tried to use some soft wares to analyze the data from the questionnaire quantitatively and use relevant knowledge from different subjects to analyze the data qualitatively.Besides,the researcher tried to analyze the characteristics and classification of hot TV plays such as themes from the ancient plays,revolutionary war and contemporary city life,and the researcher tried to know the different effect of hot TV plays on the youth's values about life,morality,marriage,occupation,social interaction and consumption,and concludes that different hot TV plays have different effect the youth's values because of the different emphasis on the descriptions,but all of them have both positive and negative effect on the youth's values.So the researcher put forward 4 suggestions to help the youth establish proper values,they are as follows: 1.The movie and television culture should highlight the main melody of the society;2.When propagandizing,the public opinions should be a leading role;3.Combining the mainstream culture and the youth's culture effectively,but put more emphasis on the mainstream culture;4.Explore new approaches of political education in the age of new media.By cooperating with people from all fields,let's cultivate the youth for our socialist construction together,who has the Four Haves.
