The Research On The Characteristics In Offensive Stage Of The Top Four Teams Of The 24^th World Men's Handball Championship

With the development of modem handball sport,high speed,high efficiency and high strength fight have become the core characteristics of handball competitions.But the change of the core features of modern handball competitions must have effects on the change of offensive tactical features of world teams.This paper employs the methods of literature material,expert interviews,video observation,mathematical statistics,questionnaire survey and so on.It studies the characteristics of offensive stage of the top four teams of the World Men's Handball Championship.After analyzing on the basic situation of the four teams' players,general characteristics of offensive stage,fast break stage and positional attacks stage.The main conclusions are as follows:1.There is no significant difference between the top four teams of World Men's Handball Championship and their rivals on average height,weight and age.The ages are all keeping at the best competitive stage.The average height,weight and age of the center,pivot,goal keeper and back of the top four teams are slightly better than opponents'.The the average height of the wing forwards is lower than their opponents' and there is a significant difference of Quetelet Index between wing forwards' and their opponents'.The top four teams pay more attention to the size of the team.2.There is no significant difference between the top four teams of World Men's Handball Championship and their opponents on the time of offensive stage.The offensive times which are complete within 10 seconds and more than 25 seconds is less than their opponents'.The offensive times which are complete within 11 seconds to 25 seconds is more than their opponents'.The offensive times which are complete within 16 seconds to 20 seconds are more dominant than opponents' and there is ignificant difference.It shows that the top four teams pay more attention to rhythm and their speed combination is better.3.The top four teams of the World Men's Handball Championship focus on the fast break form of fast break with short distance passing in fast break stage.Teamwork is used to control the initiative in the fast break stage and it has a higher rate of success.It also can make opponents be penalized two minutes and seven-meter penalty kick easily in oerder to speed up the attack rhythm and get more scores in the foul time.4.The getting ball times of midfield kick-off,the blocking ball byopponents'goal keepers and the foul of dropped ball of the top four teams of World Men's Handball Championship are lower than opponents'in positional attacks stage.There is a highly significant difference on getting the ball from midfield.It shows that the hit rate of opponents is low and the times of repetitive invalid attacks are more in offensive stage.
