Research And Practice Of Tujia Folk Sports In Primary Sports Class

As a member of a multi-ethnic,historical and cultural country,we should inherit our excellent culture,the best way of which is through school education.For a long time,our physical education has laid emphasis on competitive sports,which is deeply effected by the Soviet Union sports.The main content of middle and primary school curriculum gives more priority to competitive sports than to students' interest and needs in learning,including competitive and western equipment and textbook.Our folk sports is not only good for our health and practical but also highly cultural.Many folk sports such as rope skipping,beanbag game,frog hatching eggs and so on in Tujia,are easy to carry out practically without the limit of places,equipment and age etc.With its rich content,diverse forms and interestingness,Tujia folk sports is favored by the students after class.Not only will it supply and innovate school sports,but also enrich school sports greatly by developing and reforming them and then bringing them into primary physical education.The paper assesses G Tujia Central Primary School in Zhang Jiajie and uses the research methods based on documents,questionares and teaching experiments.The paper chooses Rob Hill and Frog Hatching Eggs as research targets in class teaching to investigate and analyze the current situation and recognition of Tujia folk sports in the experimental school.The paper based on interviewing investigates the current situation,teachers' and students' choosing opinions,feasibility and necessity and the effect and value of Tujia folk sports in class.At last,the result is that the two folk sports improve the students' physical quality,learning interest and enthusiasm in classroom participation.The tujia folk sports that is filtrated and rearranged can apply to primary schools in the minority nationalities,providing reference to more folk sports walking into primary schools.
