According to the basic theory, Xinjiang minority folk sports projectclassification are explored, and through investigation, the influence factors ofXinjiang minority folk sports development, and according to the correspondingdevelopment countermeasure development and principle of the system, so as toprovide reference for the protection and development of folk sports of ethnicminorities in china.Researchers collect research data, there are many factors which restrict thedevelopment of Xinjiang minority folk sports: first subjective reasons: lack ofattention on Local Sports Bureau of culture of folk sports; a serious shortage of funds,not to see the effect; the lack of minority folk sports reserve talent; folk sportsscience and technology level is not high, researchers, lack of cultural connotation;the ethnic cognitive less on the national folk sports. second objective reasons: ethnicminority folk sports has certain risk; lack of sports facilities; the lack of managementand organization of professional staff; minority folk sports for the deep mining, thedevelopment focus is not prominent.In view of the above problems, the researchers according to "proceed fromactual conditions, classification, development, overall planning" four basic principles:first suggestions, municipal government departments should develop subjectiveinitiative, strengthen the study of the minority folk sports culture of scientificresearch, development and utilization of the starting point of minority folk sports in;second actively cultivate minority folk sports workers, part of Xinjiang’s universitiesshould offer the physical education curriculum in minority folk; thirdly the minorityfolk sports and local school sports, fitness and tourism combined, while protectingthe minority folk sports culture, but also brought economic benefits.
