Research Of The Technical And Tactical Characteristics Of RAONIC In The 2016 Australian Open

Due to individuals tactical style,the type of site,racket technology and other factors,the tactical level of tennis has been improved with the development of society.Nowadays,the tactical level of tennis has achieve to a new level,and reasonable tactics which are based on technology become the key to winning the game.This dissertation focus on the tactics of Milos Raonic used in the six games of Australian Open Tennis Championships in 2016,the author uses the methods of literature,video observation,mathematical statistics and logic analysis to research and analyze various of tactic indicators which he used in these races,so the author concludes the reasons why he won or lost the games in Australian Open Tennis Championships.The technical and tactical characteristics were summarized.The results are as follows:1.In the service stage,Raonic is good at directing scoring.The excellent serve skill lays a good foundation for its service game.The higher success rate on first serve and second serve.The first serve rate of win is higher than the opponent’s,but in the second serve rate of win,Raonic has a gap between Wawrinka,Murray,and other outstanding players.In the one or two placement,Raonic has rich experience choice on serve,he can suppress competitors by using an effective tactical layout.2.In the progress of third shot,Raonic mainly uses forehand sideways skill.In the back of the ball,Raonic chooses to serve the ball in the backcourt,midcourt;On the return line,Raonic chooses to serve on the right and left.The tactical purpose is to increase the depth of the ball and attack the opponent’s backhand that can suppress opponents.The highest winning rate of placement is in the backcourt.The left and right of the winning rate is higher.Raonic has a good ability at the surface of the ball and line change.3.In the service stage,Raonic received second service wining rate in the deuce and service area are higher than the winning rate of the first serve.Facing with the first and second shot,Raonic mainly takes the offensive received,forehand and backhand is the highest utilization rate.To the opponent’s serve,Raonic can make a break point,but the ability to grasp break point needs to be improved.After receiving the first serve back to midfielder>backcourt>forecourt.Receiving two serve back to backcourt>midcourt>forecourt.After two rounds of attack is the main tactical strategy of Raonic in the opponent’s serve game.4.In the use of the fourth shot,Raonic hit the highest rate of forehand,The secondis forehand sideways,the use rate is the lowest in backhand.Raonic’s main line of play is the right side,but the most control of the ball is in midcourt.5.The stalemate of backhand attack ability is forceful,Raonic uses the highest win rate of hitting the forehand sideways,he has strong ability to score.But his backhand attack ability is poor,two-hander backhand batting is weak to Raonic’s technology.He should strengthen the skills training of two-hander backhand..6.In the stalemate stage of the technology,Raonic usually uses the forehand technique which is the highest utilization rate.The utilization rate is not balanced,in the face of backhand ball alternating with the backhand,forehand sideways stroke,slice backhand.He is good at overhead smash technology and volley.In the choice of the placement of a stalemate,Raonic mainly choose backcourt> midcourt >forecourt,usage and win rate match.7.Raonic has a strong sense of attack in the game,but in the manufacture of high score he also make a lot of unforced errors.He should improve the stability and make less unforced errors.The higher unforced error also shows that Raonic still has a lot of room for improvement.8.Throughout the tournament,Raonic repeatedly used serve volley and surf the net with the ball tactics,using the interception technology and achieves good results,which show that the serve volley is a good skill to gain scores.
