The Study Of Relationship Between Instrumental Aggression And Impulsivity In College Students

Aggression is a psychological tendency to assure others or cause pain,in which the instrumental aggression refers to the way an individual will harm others as a way of getting a return;impulsivity is a psychological tendency that leads to inappropriate or adaptive behavior,there is no uniformity at home and abroad about the relationship between instrumental aggression and impulsivity.Therefore we use social cognitive experiment design,psychology scale as research tool,and by using correlation analysis,variance analysis and other methods to explore the relationship between college students' instrumental aggression and impulsivity.In the scale study,Buss-Perry aggression questionnaire(BPAQ)and Barratt impulsiveness scale-11(BIS-11)were adopted to explore the relationship between aggression and impulsivity of college students,analyzes the aggression and impulsivity characteristics of college students and whether there are differences between grades and students.Behavioral experiment adds conditional stimulation and variable control on the basis of the original Iowa gambling task,compiled the 2(noisy / noiseless)× 2(high penalty frequency / original penalty frequency)of experimental design to explore the relationship between instrumental aggression and impulsivity.The results showed that there was no significant difference in the level of aggression and impulsivity students in different grades and students;there is a correlation between aggression and impulsivity;improved version of the Iowa gambling task can better evaluate subjects instrumental aggression and impulsivity;There is a correlation between instrumental aggression and aggression,impulsivity.This study fills the theoretical gaps in the study of college students' instrumental aggression and impulsivity,put forward the suggestions to monitor and prevent college students' aggressive behavior and impulsive behavior,in an effort to prevent college students suicide,violence and in the reduction of interest disputes,mental health education and other work to play a practical role.
