With the development of computer assisted learning,animation pedagogical agent has been used widespread in the multi-media environment with its uniques.APA which carrying a certain image can influence students' learning effect with the external function of moving or pointing and the internal function of emotional interaction.Meanwhile,micro-course are being developed and applied gradually as a new type of teaching resource.It embodies the student-centered teaching ideas with short teaching contents and complete teaching activities.The study will combine APA with micro-course to improve students' learning effect.However,prior studies find that there are many factors influencing the learning effect of APA——prior knowledge of students and role of APA,for example.First,as a assisted teaching mean,APA has different influences on students with different prior knowledge.For the same APA instructed teaching,low prior knowledge students tend to achieve better learning effects,but it makes no learning effects to high prior knowledge students and it even affects the learners to obtain normal learning results.Then,different students like different role of APA when APA is presented to them.APA will enhance students' interests and help them get better test scores to a certain degree when the role of APA presented on the screen match their preferences.What in turn is established.Thus,the role of APA affects students' learning effect.Therefore,the study will carry out specific experiments on the two issues.The first experiment will explore the learning effect of different prior knowledge students influenced by APA.The experimental design is that(no APA,with APA)*(high prior knowledge learners,low prior knowledge learners).The second experiment will explore the learning effect of the role of APA.The learners are randomly divided into three groups to study micro-course which correspond three roles of assistant,teachers and experts APA.The experiment results show that low prior knowledge students acquire higher test scores,and when instructed by assistant not teacher and expert,learners acquire higher test scores.
