Study On The Alienation Of Doctor-Patient Relationship Under The New Dual Track System

At present,the alienation of the doctor-patient relationship has been widely concerned.Through the investigation and interview of two different levels of hospitals in S Province,the author finds that the phenomenon of alienation is not only reflected in the contradiction between doctors and patients in large hospitals,but also in the doctor-patient collusion in small hospitals.The root causes of the alienation of doctor-patient relationship are not limited to the doctor the patient,but also lies in the development of China's medical and health system.At this stage,under the work unit system,governments' dominance and interference in medical treatment result in China's unbalanced allocation of medical resources,causing high-quality medical resources to be concentrated in large cities' major hospitals.The project responsibility system,as a new type of national governance system,also has the function of power and resource allocation.Thus,under the influence of this new dual track system,the Matthew effect has formed in hospitals where the disparity between the powerful and the weak always exists.Large hospitals are overcrowded,small hospitals are deserted.Doctor-patient relationship has passed from the close kind in the planned economy period to a temporary one-time medical visit.The trust crisis has become an insurmountable gap between doctors and patients.Problems arise such as the difficulty of getting medical service and its expensive cost.As for the hospital,the large ones,in pursuit of their expansion,usually require doctors to engage in scientific research apart from seeing patients,making them always feel exausted;small hospital survival,few patients and no scientific research,collusion "cheating" have occurred.Therefore,in view of "new dual track system" based on the work unit system and the project system,the author studies the present doctor-patient relationship,and tries to analyze the relationship between doctors and patients from a new perspective,in the hope of alleviating or solving the conflicts between doctors and patients and the doctor-patient collusion problem,and promoting the healthy development of the medical and health undertakings in our country.
