Vector is one of the most important and basic concepts in modern mathematics,and the set of "geometric and algebra" with complexity.It is proved that there are some difficulties in the process of learning vector,which is mainly reflected in:Lack of understanding of the essential concept of vector,lack of geometric meaning and poor application ability.In order to solve the above problems,In this paper,guided by the theory of multiple representation of vector teaching research.This article mainly from two aspects of theory and practice research,designed to reduce the students cognitive load in the learning of the abstract concept of "vector",improve academic performance.In the aspect of theoretical research,this paper mainly based on the theory of multiple representation and multimedia learning cognitive theory,to explore the cognitive model of multivariate characterization of learning how to apply in actual classroom teaching,and put forward the multivariate characterization of mathematics teaching mode under the information technology support.In the aspect of practice research,first,give priority to with questionnaire and case interview,aiming at the high school vector field investigation situation of teaching and learning,it is concluded that the vector on the problems existing in the teaching and learning;Second,using the method of "contrast" design and single factor test before and after the experiment,compared with the traditional teaching mode,researching the differences of the teaching effect in the lesson of "The vector method in the solid geometry "under the guidance of the teaching mode.From the results and analysis of the experiment,it can be seen that the teaching of the multivariate representation teaching mode under the support of information technology is helpful to improve the students' interest in learning,reduceing the cognitive load in the learning process and improve the academic achievement effectively.
