Influences And Countermeasures Of WeChat To College Students’ Ideological And Political Education

College students are the backbone of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.College students’ growth is closely related to the future fate of the party and the country.Giving importance to the ideological and political education of college students is good tradition and political advantage of the party.Doing a good job of ideological and political education for college students not only can lead the political orientation of college students,the improvement of the personality for college students,but also the cultivating students’ abilities can also promote the development of politics,economy,and culture in China.With the rapid development of communication technology,WeChat has been used by university students in their studies and life.WeChat has become increasingly rich in function,distinctive in characteristics,and diverse in usage.Then,it has become a self-media that the appearance of WeChat has changed people’s way of life and has also been closely related to the ideological and political education of college students.In the information age,the state encourages and guides colleges and universities to use new media and new technologies to carry out ideological and political education.However,WeChat is a “double-edged sword.”Only the in-depth study of the influence of WeChat on the ideological and political education of college students can make use of the value of WeChat better,to achieve ideological and political education goals.Based on previous studies,this article conducted a questionnaire survey on the use of WeChat among college students in four universities in Tai’an.Based on the analysis of statistical data,this article summarized the dual influence of WeChat on ideological and political education of college students.WeChat broadened the sources of information on the ideological and political education of college students,enriched the methods of ideological and political education for university students,established an equal relationship between the subject and object of ideological and political education,enhanced the pertinence and appealof undergraduate ideological and political education,and mobilized the self-education and self-management enthusiasm of college students.Nevertheless,WeChat has also affected the ideological values and behavior habits of college students.This challenged educators’ educational concepts and media literacy,affected the display of traditional ideological and political education carriers,and increased difficulty of campus public opinion to monitor and guide.Therefore,universities should pay full attention to the positive influence of WeChat on the ideological and political education of college students,make full use of WeChat to do a good job of ideological and political work for college students,and actively respond to the negative influence of WeChat on educators,educators,education media,and education environment,and build a scientific and effective the WeChat management supervision mechanism,creates a multidimensional WeChat platform for ideological and political education of college students,creating college students’ ideological and political educators adapting to WeChat environment,guides college students in the standardized use of WeChat,enhances the ideological and political education of college students,and promotes the overall healthy development of college students.
